Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and ImaraAutomata. By using your account you accept them. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it.

Accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for activity under your sign-in and for keeping it secure. Workspace owners decide who joins and what role they hold. Admin roles may require two-factor sign-in.

ImaraAutomata has five modules: Test Buddy, Bug Capture & ticketing, Readiness checks, Tracker docs and Automate replies. Features may change; we announce material changes in the app.

Only record screens, cameras or voices you have the right to record. Get consent from anyone who appears or can be heard. Do not record passwords, payment details or other people's private data.

When you connect Jira or another service, actions run as you and follow that service's own terms. Real tickets, messages and other outside actions only happen after you approve them, and Jira issues only go to the project your workspace has allowed. You are responsible for what you approve.

You keep all rights in your content and in drafts ImaraAutomata creates for you. We use it only to run the service for you.

ImaraAutomata, including the web app, its APIs, IMA and the Test Buddy Runner browser extension, is © ImaraAutomata and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you. Except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction, you may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of any part of the service or extension, or modify, copy, create derivative works of, redistribute, resell or sub-license it.

You agree not to:

• upload harmful files or content you have no right to share;
• run Test Buddy against sites you are not allowed to test;
• try to get around roles, workspace limits, approvals or access controls;
• use the service for unlawful, harmful or deceptive purposes.

Unsafe uploads and repeated failed sign-ins are blocked automatically.

Transcripts, ticket drafts, test results and readiness findings are aids for a person to review. They do not certify anything as complete, secure or compliant.

We aim for reliable service but may pause features for maintenance. Some pages you have opened before can still be viewed without internet, but nothing new is saved until you reconnect.

You may stop using ImaraAutomata and request deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms and will tell you why unless legally prevented. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months before a claim, and we exclude indirect loss.
